Viennese buns with poppy seeds

Delicate yeast dough and juicy poppy filling form the basis of the recipe for plump Viennese buns.

Ingredients for this delicious—>

Ingredients:

  1. Poppy filling “Dobryk” – 1 pack.
  2. Organic sugar “Dobryk” – 70 g
  3. Organic powder “Dobryk” – 2 tsp.
  4. Flour – 450 g

Ingredients:

  1. Milk – 200 g
  2. Butter – 70 g
  3. Eggs – 1 pc.
  4. A pinch of salt
  5. Dry yeast “Dobryk” – 1 pack.

Preparation:

  1. Mix dry  yeast “Dobryk” with a tablespoon of organic sugar “Dobryk” until smooth. Add warm milk. Stir and leave in a warm place for 15-20 minutes to activate the yeast.
  2. Beat the egg with the remaining sugar, add melted butter. Add to the brew and mix gently. Add some flour, leave the rest to knead so that the dough is not very thick. Knead for 10-15 minutes, so that the dough leaves your hands. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and leave in a warm place for at least an hour to double in size.
  3. Roll up a dyno tube from the dough and divide it into 12 parts, it is best to use a scale. Round each and leave under a towel for 10 minutes. Form buns. Grease liberally with melted butter on top, cover with foil and leave in a warm place for 40 minutes.
  4. Bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees on a medium level without convection for 25 minutes. Cover the tin with foil 10 minutes before the end so that the buns do not burn.
  5. Cool and sprinkle with organic powder “Dobryk”.
